What went on before I became saved is not really significant, but here is a brief sketch. I was born and raised in an Italian Roman Catholic home, and I hold two degrees from a Jesuit University including an M.D. degree. I married and fathered seven children, but was divorced after 18 years. My second marriage will reach 25 years in a few months as of this writing. (2001) I practiced Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility Microsurgery over a 30-year period; retiring in January of 1998. I held every position of leadership possible in my hospital, and I held the highest office in the N.J. State OB-Gyn Society. There are other credentials, but this is enough to establish my credibility. I still hold a valid medical license in the state of Maine.

I am a medical doctor, licensed and in good standing, and I claim to be a credible “evidence giver.” The book consists of a series of narratives about personal supernatural experiences as well as some supernatural events involving others. There are stories of prophecies I have lived to see come to pass, and of prayers that have been answered involving others and myself. These are set forth in no special order; however, as much as possible, there is an intent to be chronological. Some testimonies are short; others are long. You may begin reading anywhere and skip about, as you like.

“A Surgeon Will Inspire Faith Through a Recollection of Close Encounters with God

How will you start a conversation with God?

God is the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. He is constant. He never changes. Therefore, if He spoke to Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Mosses, David, and the forerunners of our faith, He can speak to us. However, we need a strong foundation built upon faith. To experience a conversation with God, we must walk in the supernatural.

A doctor who practiced Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility Microsurgery for over 30 years, shares a candid recollection of his works with the Lord. And in the book, “The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Me: A Physician’s Journey into The Supernatural Realms of God,” Dr. Michael DeVita attests to the reality and accessibility of the supernatural realms.

In this memoir, Dr. DeVita shares his supernatural conversations with God and how it all started. Although raised in a Roman Catholic home, he only started to have a deeper relationship with God after a Jesus Rally in 1980. The event opened a different facet on how he sees God and allowed him to immerse in the power of God. Dr. DeVita never looked back and has continued to persevere in this walk of faith. He continued to impart God’s miracle and even shared the gift of healing to those who seek it. Above all, he fueled his ministry by allowing himself to experience close encounters with the Lord.

Indeed, this heartfelt recollection of a person who had truly laid down his life for the Lord will inspire, encourage, and transform through the grace of God.
