Brother Elijah is the founder of Soul for Christ Ministry, Inc., a nonprofit, tax exempt, community support organization, serving primarily the mentally ill and homeless individuals in Dallas counties & adjacent communities in Dallas Texas.

Since the birth of the ministry in 1999, supportive services have extended to include the elderly, single parents, low income couples, troubled teenagers, individuals struggling with depression, all kinds of addiction, legal issues, and anyone who is hurting and reaching out for help. The author earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Education, Master of Science degree in Counseling & Guidance from Texas A & M University, and a PhD in Psychology. He is a master-level, Licensed Professional Counselor. The author is happily married, blessed with children and grandchildren.
