Agnew Eugene Smith was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication. He went on to pursue a career in television, where he worked for Cable News Network for three years. He then moved into the advertising and publishing industry where he worked for BellSouth and AT&T for twenty-eight years. Agnew enjoys writing short stories and poetry and has been published for his poem, “Barriers.” “Make A Stand” is his first fiction novel. Agnew currently resides in Marietta, Georgia.
