Gboyega Esan, a former banker is the senior pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Living Spring, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Heis an ardent church planter who has been involved in planting many branches of the RCCG in Africa and the USA. He is married to Olvkemi a co-pastor & physician. They are blessed with two adults sons, Korede and Opemipo.

Lord is a covenant God. His covenant talk about his faithfulness and commitment to those who are blessed to be recepients.The author defines a covenant as a promise of God backed by an oath. This makes his covenants irrevocable as seen in the Abrahamic and Davidic covenants in the Bible. Once, God institutes a covenant with an individual or group, He remains committed to it even when the recepients of such covenant blessing turn their backs on Him (Psalms 89:30-37).
