Samantha J. Chrismas was born in Coventry England and migrated to Jamaica West Indies when she was 4 years old. Samantha later immigrated to the United States when she was 14 years old. She lived in New York City with her mother, 2 sisters, and her extended family. It was during that time she gave her life to the Lord and was baptized.

Samantha attended a Christian high school and college after she graduated, she attended Columbia University where she obtained a Master’s of Science degree in social work. Samantha is a veteran social worker with 30 years of experience in her profession.

Samantha is a fierce advocate for the underprivileged, underserved, and mistreated. Her professional and personal life culminates and is expressed via her website Trade Girl Speaks. This is where her creativity is fully displayed in her integration of spirituality, and therapy by way of poetry and expression.

Samantha considers herself a life-long learner inspired by her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Samantha has a deep quest for knowledge, knowledge she says is “life for those who desire it”

Samantha has also written a children’s book Land of Sweet Dreams as a creative way for parents to spend time with their children at bedtime.

Samantha enjoys spending quality time with her two teenage sons, her extended family, and close friends. In addition, Samantha plans to continue writing, blogging and her sharing the Gospel with all who are willing to listen.

This compact book took the author 9 days to complete. In it, she shares her very personal and spiritual experiences with forces of both the diabolical and the divine. Her determination and resolution to have a divine encounter was validated when Jesus visited her one glorious night. There is so much joy in knowing that Jesus is alive and His body cannot be found in the grave. If you seek Him with all your heart, mind, body, and soul you too could have an encounter.

Why her visit lasted 9 minutes is unknown to her Nevertheless, her passion for examining root causes, words, and numbers led her to seek the Biblical meaning of the number 9. She has shared a few findings below. In the Bible, the number 9 means divine completeness or finality, truth and judgment, harvest, fruitfulness, it speaks of something coming to an end, and something that needs to be revealed. Jesus gave up His Spirit at the ninth hour (Mt. 27:46) Yom Kippur is on the ninth day (of the seventh month). This special day is considered by many Jews to be the holiest of the year (Leviticus 23:32). The ninth hour is the hour of prayer (Acts 3:1; 10:30) There are nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. (I Cor. 12:8-10) There are nine fruits of the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23) It was at the ninth hour of the day that Cornelius, a Roman Centurion, had a vision he was to contact the apostle Peter. (Acts 10) (Cornelius was the first recorded gentile to convert to Christianity.)
