Peggy Warren has been a writer all her life, mostly a poet and short story writer. Peggy has a deep interest in exploring the complexities of personal issues and writes about them with passion and insight. After living in the Colorado Mountains for 30 years, she was widowed and gave up her 100 year old cabin to experience life in the city of Boulder. Currently she is working on a memoir detailing her varied and complicated journey through life. She has three grown children, two grandchildren, and Joey, her precious Ragdoll pussycat.

Artistic Maggie, ambitious Brenda, bold Kate, and fragile Belle find support in each other as unusual circumstances bring them together to live under the same roof. In the process of dealing with their own personal crises, the four women share laughter and tears not only with each other but with hilarious Albert, the Great Dane, who adds personal solace, as well as communal joy. Their journey takes them to a remote and primitive cabin in the Colorado Mountains where they face many challenges leading to unexpected twists and turns that illustrate the power of women to blend together with compassion and understanding when faced with adversity.
