George M. Papa (b. 1943) is a six-generation member of this Church. He is not one of the twelve living Apostles. He is just an ordinary member who likes to tell it like it is. However, he has served as a member of a ward bishopric in Mesa, Arizona, which is the name for a congregation. There are over 80 such congregations in Mesa. He was also a branch president, twice, in Argentina. Many of his ancestors were original pioneers who did labor shoulder to shoulder with Joseph Smith to bring about this phenomenal gift of knowledge, faith and actual eternal salvation to the world. His first book is called The Vietnam Jungle Speaks, which are front-line battlefield events from his service as an Infantry Lieutenant in the Vietnam War. The second book he wrote is this one, followed by sixteen more.

No man since Jesus Christ has generated more religious interest, or restored more lost scripture, than Joseph Smith (b. 1805, in Vermont). He was the founder of Christ’s restored New Testament Church, which is now known as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, aka the Mormon Church or the LDS Church. The first six members were sustained in 1830, in upper state New York. These included Joseph and two of his brothers plus three other close friends. God had told Joseph that his name would be known for both good and evil, because the faithful know the voice of God, yet Satan seeks to destroy any truth. Joseph had particularly claimed that God and Jesus Christ appeared to him and that Christ instructed him as to the restoration of Christ’s original New Testament Church. This ancient Church had been lost circa 150 A.D., due to iniquity, persecution, and the martyrdom of Christ and all of his apostles. Also, the doctrine, ordinances and covenants had been changed, including the very nature of God.

This was nothing new. Since the days of Adam, The Church of Jesus Christ has fallen from the earth and was restored on six separate occasions. The first was with Adam and Eve. They were the first couple on earth. God and separate Jesus Christ, who are both glorified men, personally instructed them as to the true Gospel, so that all righteous men and women could become deities, after the probation of this mortality. However, after several generations, that Church fell, followed by the dispensations of Enoch, then Noah, Abraham, Moses, and finally Jesus Christ personally, when he took his turn of mortality upon this earth, about 2,000 years ago.

In 1830, Joseph Smith received divine instruction as to the official restoration of Christ’s true Church. This preparatory Church is the last dispensation before the Second Coming of Christ, to usher in what is called the Millennium. The Millennium is 1,000 years during which this earth will be elevated to its Terrestrial State, from its present 6,000 year history of its Telestial State. See: The Book of Revelation in the New Testament, Chapter 20. Following that, this earth will be graduated again to its final and Celestial State, which shall endure for all eternity. See: Revelation, Chapter 21. Today, worldwide, there are over 16 million baptized members. This book is the detailed story of that last restoration.

“A Conclusive View on the Life, Philosophy, Faith, and Works of Joseph Smith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a total of sixteen million members around the world. However, the conception and foundation of this church started through a vision. At 14-years of age, Joseph Smith received the most important vision in his life. In 1820, during the height of revivalism in New England, the young Joseph was ordained by God and the resurrected Jesus Christ. He was given a mission – restore God’s true church. The vision lived on, and 200 years later, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints had become one of the most influential religious organization in the world, with temples and chapels in North and South America, Europe, Africa, China, Russia, Australia and in the Middle East.

In a recollection of the life of arguably the most accomplished religious leader in history, a sixth-generation active-member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, let’s us in on the life of Joseph Smith. In his book, “Joseph Part One,” George Papa writes about the life, philosophy, faith, and works of the founder of one of the largest churches in the world.

The book facilitates a firsthand, point-of-view perspective for readers. Papa’s first-in-the-nation modified screenplay style of writing provides an immersive experience akin to a feature film. He had included over 100 indicative photos which help amplify the message and improve visualization. The book will also create a run-through of key historical events that helped shape and advance the teachings and dogmas of God’s true church.

To date, the teachings and doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as published in the Book of Mormon, continue to advance throughout the corners of the world.
