Vivian Lewter-Loydd, the third of seven siblings, born January 2, 1956, in Frostproof, Florida. She has three children, twelve grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and great-grandsons. She attended Ralph J. Bunch, an all black Elementary School in Frostproof, Florida, from 1961 to 1969. In August 1969 she attended Frostproof Jr., Sr., High School at the end of the segregation, she graduated in 1974. Vivian also attended Biscayne Business College in Tampa Florida, 1977, Ridge Technical Vocational School in Haines City, Florida, 1984. She has been married to Pastor James Loydd for 43 years. They pastor Upon This Rock Outreach Ministry, Inc., in Frostproof, Florida and are the owners of two Early Childhood facilities in Lake Wales, Florida. She is the author of “Poetically Speaking” a book of poetry written to inspire its reader.

She found “I Am My Sisters Keeper” yearly retreat in 2005. It is a yearly retreat for girls and women of all ages. Her love for children inspired her to write this book.

Writing a book of poetry was not a lifelong dreams, a matter of fact, I began writing at the age of thirty three and I am now fifty four years old.

I’ve compiled some of this book’s content from poetry that I wrote over twenty years ago and as I read it, seems as if it was written just yesterday.

I’m convinced now that whether you realize it or not, if poetry is on the inside, somewhere on life’s journey, something will bring out the poet in you.

This book is not just a book of poetry. It contains poetic truths that will touch the hearts and minds of its reader. Each title is either a story, situation, or just words to inspire you.
