Captivating Stories That Will Touch Your Heart And Live In Your Memory
Latter-day Saints will relish this book’s insightful, revealing 33 true stories told in exquisitely composed prose by a life-long Mormon. But so will those outside the Church who are curious about the LDS lifestyle. They will gain up-close, fascinating insight – many for the first time – about what it means to live life as a Mormon, its challenges and rewards. Included are 20 poems, many of which disclose how Mormons perceive their time on earth, and all of which are thought-provoking.
“Extraordinary Stories from the Life of an Ordinary Mormon
Our attitude and how we behave is a summation of our experiences and the lessons we have learned. Life is a journey of pleasant and unpleasant experiences. It is a process that will aid us in refining ourselves for the life after mortality. Throughout the journey, we will encounter a range of people and circumstances. These leave us with imprints that will help us navigate what God has set before us.
In a compilation of transcribed experiences, Paul Schneiter, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, imparts heartwarming food for thoughts. He invites us to read some chapters of his life in the book, “Rise, with Healing in Our Wings: Extraordinary Stories from the Life of an Ordinary Mormon.”
The book is an account of the Schneiter’s experiences as he treads a life under the guidance of God’s word. It contains recollections that evoke a deep sense of pondering and realization. Readers will find comfort in the full-on transparency within the stories. Their portrayals of life and the trivial things that come with it create an air of relatability which brings the reader close to home.
Every story opens with a unique experience. The author’s skill enables him to inject lessons that speak to the soul and the spirit. His eloquence is evident in his excellent choice of words that help him artfully convey his thoughts. Enlightening lessons follow. The lessons imparted by Schneiter are in the scriptures of his faith. “Rise” will certainly find its way to connect with readers on intellectual and spiritual levels.
Walk in the life of Paul Schneiter. Gather pearls of wisdom as you continue to tread this journey called life.”
