Beauford E. Averette lives in Salem, Oregon, with his wife for over half a century. In the past, he enjoyed driving or working on his 1929 Model A Ford or his 1962 Ford Falcon. Over the years since retiring, there has been more free time to write novels. Now that using a computer makes it so much easier than in days gone by, he enjoys writing more. In addition, he and his wife have enjoyed traveling around Europe and Great Britain. They now live in Salem, Oregon, along with their 33-year-old South East Asian Yellow-margined Box Turtle.

Would you risk your life exploring a lava tunnel under a glacier in the wintertime?

Have you ever been caught in an avalanche and been carried down a mountainside? It happened to all four of our climbers. You will want to read about their experience.

Why did Larry become the victim of a cosmic force when he stepped into the shallow rocky overhang for shelter and disintegrated? Could Adrian Adralack, a fellow climber who saw it happen, invent a teletransporter to bring him back out? For what unusual purpose would Adrian use his teletransporter? Would Art become obsessed with walking into the Adralack Crack? Would Art’s wife find love with an old friend? Will the alien that came from Exvascia, by the cosmic force, search out and mate with one of the climbers?

Experience the testing of a teletransporter on both inanimate objects and humans. What happens to Delbert when the teletransporter’s power fails as it is test fired on him?

Which of the four ways of obtaining money will Adrian choose? Earn it, Borrow it, Win it or Steal it?

This action and much more will excite your imagination and titillate your senses.

“Beauford E. Averette and His Creative Mind Wander Off Again into Another Interdimensional Adventure as He Presents “The Adralack Crack on Mt. Baker”

This literal and figurative out-of-the-world novel is a three-part series. The adventures and dangers that four university teachers endure when climbing Mt. Baker during their winter break are chronicled in this book. They got caught in an avalanche after an unexpected cave-in of a lava tube beneath a glacier. With Larry hurt, they decide to take refuge in the “Adralack Crack,” a small rock protrusion. When Larry entered the “Crack,” why did he become a victim of the cosmic force? Could a fellow climber, Adrian Adralack, construct a tele-transporter to get him back out? Their lives are permanently impacted by the paranormal ramifications of what happened to the climber in the “Crack.”

The book envelopes a treasure trove of twists and turns dealing with extraterrestrials, teletransportation, thieving, love, sex, and friendship. This and much more will titillate your senses and pique your imagination.

The novel and the series as a whole are done elegantly, blending several components into one continuous plot. The way the author has written it makes it easy to grasp while still being instructive for those who are new to this genre. Beauford can tie the storylines together and patch up the narratives that will make the readers ponder what will happen or what has happened in the other books.”
