This story is about a young girl whose mother is swept away when she was very young, leaving her to seek the quest of becoming a woman on her own. A children’s book for young girls who seek the answers to the age-old question of qualities of becoming a woman. The characters in the story represent the qualities of womanhood, and the means, and measures of that quest. As a man writing about such issues, this was no easy undertaking. This book is dedicated to my daughter Tammy, whom inspired me to write the story when she was a young girl, and who continues to be an inspiration in my life to this day.
