My name is Jamie Vannata. I am a wife, mother, teacher, life coach, and friend to all. I have been a teacher for more than twenty years and have taught elementary school, junior high school, high school, and special education. I have witnessed many different things while teaching within classrooms of every age group and demographic. I have learned that we are all the same. We all want to know that we are loved, cared for and accepted. This has become the reason for me writing this book.

We are all a work in progress. Everyday we must do a character check on ourselves. We must self-reflect and identify the areas in us that we must change. We must ask for forgiveness and make the changes necessary to become the best version of ourselves. We need to choose daily to be kind and to choose words of love and to think positive about the days ahead. We need to walk in love toward others, not be offended by others and love our neighbor as ourselves. It is up to us to make the world a better place. The character you choose to possess defines you. Let’s choose to be people of good character and become who we were created to be.

Your Character Defines You is a book that inspires you to be courageous and go after your dreams. It is loaded with positive encouragement that will keep you focused on reaching your goals. This book identifies character traits and the role they play in you reaching your destiny. It also promotes the changing of our current behaviors and polishing all the character traits that you already possess. Getting rid of bad traits and keeping the good, causing them to shine bright. Your Character Defines You will cause you to become unstoppable and reach your dreams.
