I was born on in San Diego Easter Sunday April 13, 1952 with Autism. My wife for 29 years was born 2 hours before me on Saturday April 12, 1950 in Florence, South Carolina, 3,000 miles apart. I learned long ago there is no coincidences. In 1962 J.F.K reached up and shook my hand as I was 10 years old sitting on my cousin Johnny’s shoulders at his campaign in San Jose. I worked as a iron worker, rigger, and crane operator as well as a Nuclear Technician for 35 years all over the United States, to Scotland, then to Iraq in 2009 to 2011 where I stood in the ‘Garden of Eden’. Getting back to 2001 my father died 1/15/2001 on MLK’s birthday. I was in South Carolina and could not go to his cremation in California. That night though I had a dream ‘The Torch Master’ is based. In my dream my father was cremated and set behind the flames where a beautiful Priestess could him living in paradise through the flames. My wife read it before she died 5/27/2001. Her sister in law read it before she died in June 2001. By all this I decided to recluse myself to a mountain cabin 14,000 feet a.s.l. My kids and mother and sister came after me to bring me back to their reality. My mother read it before she died 12/22/2001. I put it away 10 years until I returned from Iraq. The next 2 years I decided to bring it out to edit it while on unemployment and GOD changed it to what it is.

The Torch Master started when as a small infant girl was left at the gates of a monastery during the war. The Head Monk devise a ceremony for her to light all the lanterns to keep her busy and asking to many questions. As a teenager she was asked to light the fire at a cremation that led to her seeing in the flames the deceased living in paradise. All Koreans came with garments or personal effects that were enough for her to their loves in a paradise the family would recognize no one else. Her life changed when she quenched her torches in the fountain and it bust into flames. Her mystical journey is recorded in this book ‘The Torch Master’ and a Hidden City still kept hidden and secret by the Korean Monks and those who are still living during the Korean War. Love, Romance, tradegy, and humor follow every character. The Torch Master is a roller coaster of adventured that leaves it’s reader in suspense wanting to get through every chapter. As Author it is my hope you enjoy your read as much as I had writing it. In my belief GOD gave me this story.
