I was born in West Virginia the youngest daughter of ten children, five boys and five girls. I was blessed with a very loving mother and father. My mother was a school teacher until she started her family. She taught us to believe in our own ability to accomplish any goal and to follow our dreams. I owe so much to her guidance and belief in my ability.

I attended Penn State University when I lived in Pennsylvania and continued my education through the years. I have lived in Kentucky, Ohio and South Carolina. My South Carolina home is where my heart is and will forever be my favorite place.

I am married to a wonderful man that has the ability to make me laugh each and every day. He has encouraged me and always been by my side through the loss of my parents and five siblings. I do not have children of my own but was blessed with wonderful nieces and nephews that have filled my life with unconditional love. I have one step-son and two grandsons.

This story is about a couple working through life and looking forward to retirement, when the events of their business change the complete picture of their future.

James finds a way of life that is more appealing and exciting than the one he had lived the past twenty some years and that is where the problems begin.

Faith, his wife was quieter, more at ease with her surroundings and wanting to remain in their hometown. As time passed James was away more and more and Faith was left to live a very lonely life.

Follow them through the trials and tribulations of marriage and finding people that meet their needs but in a different way.
