P.J.Pennington is a mother, grandmother, wife, and lifelong learner. Her husband is her soul mate, partner and source of encouragement.
In her pursuit of knowledge and wisdom, Ms. Pennington studied and participated in multiple spiritual traditions (Christianity, Judism, Islam, Buddhism and more). Her educational studies included: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Divinity, Master of Divinity, and PhD in Metaphysical Theology.
Doctor Pennington’s passion for Mysticism led her to a path which included writing and multiple forms of art. Her artwork often became a form of meditation. While Buddhist use mala beads in meditation, often, Ms Pennington uses crochet, painting, beading and other creative processes to quiet her mind and to focus on her spiritual pursuit of enlightenment.
Doctor Pennington’s curiosity led her to study symbolism of multiple cultures. She learned that many symbols are shared by several cultures. Even though the symbols may not always be shared, the concepts often are. An example is illustrated in that most cultures share some version of what Western writers call “the Golden Rule”. Though there is not a specific symbol that crosses cultures to express compassion, it is represented in the simple rule that we must treat others with the same understanding and compassion that we would like other to treat us.
The poetry found in A Path to Love are meant to inspire hope, love, faith, and joy. In a pursuit of wisdom and knowledge, P.J. Pennington found a higher truth and a deeper relationship with the Source, and gained insight into God’s plan working in the author’s life.
Through deep personal and physical challenges, the authored dicovered true joy has nothing to do with circumstances. A lifetime of experiences have moved P.J. Pennington toward the expression of love and devotion to God. This Path to Love is the author’s. Each person has their own path that can lead to knowledge and an experience of grace and love. It is a choice to actively participate in the journey.
