ALASKA STORIES: A Memoir is a travel log of romance, adventure and spiritual quest of Margret. At forty-five Margret knows there is more to life than stagnation and death. In 1986 she left her family and friends to move to Anchorage to work as an occupational therapist. Thwarted in her desire for marriage and career advancement, Margret returns to her love of boating and the natural beauty of Alaska to discover her essential worth as a human being. Just when she learns to value herself as a single woman, life takes another turn and dreams became a reality.
