MIKE PUNGERCAR and his wife Milly are natives of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and currently reside in Springfield, Oregon. Mike is author of “The Promise Kept”, a book covering the Air War Over Europe during World War II. Mike is Founder of the South Willamette Valley Honor Flight program, a member of the 91st Bomb Group Memorial Association, and the Eighth Air Force Historical Society.

World War II — what many historians call the defining event of the 20th century. The global war that resulted in the deaths of an estimated 60,000,000 civilians and combatants around the world.
