Linda Prescott-Precise, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She worked in radio and television management for 30 years. She also had several TV and radio programs over the years. She has taught Sunday School, led many women Bible Studies, and spoken to women in many churches in her community.
Happily married to Joe Precise, they spend their free time with their blended family and church family.
One bad choice as a young teen brought her twenty years of physical abuse, facing the near death of her only daughter, and watching her sons grow up with an abusive father. She found a friend named Jesus, and he restored her life. God used every awful detail of those twenty years to teach her about real love and forgiveness and how to become an overcomer.
“Linda Prescott-Precise Embraces Faith and Chronicles It in Her Memoir “Tears in His Bottle”
“You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” (Psalm 56:8 NLT)
Linda Prescott-Precise’s life is chronicled in “Tears in His Bottle”—a spiritually inspiring book. She describes her childhood and the problems she had growing up in a dysfunctional household, where the father finds solace in alcohol and the mother was always yelling. Her desire for attention and acceptance led her into an abusive relationship in which she was subjected to physical, verbal, and emotional abuse for more than two decades. The violence was so bad that she had to stay indoors for days since her husband didn’t want anybody to see her bruised and occasionally injured. It had been a 20-year story of suffering, betrayal, and various forms of abuse. She was confronted with new problems when she finally broke free from the chains of her failing marriage.
The book is based on the actual experiences of a woman who grew in grace as a result of her faith. Linda, who had lost all faith in herself during the previous two decades, experienced God’s capacity to restore and renew everything. Because God is a god who can command the winds to be silent, Linda’s honesty will encourage everyone to have faith even in the middle of the darkest storm. She also talked about how she overcame her anxieties and uncertainties by crying out to Jesus in the midst of every problem.
This memoir describes how a “trivial” girl with no particular talents or ability, and certainly no confidence, and how God turned her life around in more ways than she can ever dream of.”
