The eyes of our children are upon us
Do not look away
For in their eyes we see ourselves reflected
It is we they save 

Let them draw us in for they hold the keys
To the treasures we only dream about
Take them by the hand
And let them lead us
For in their innocence
Are the wonders we desire 

Beware no harm comes to them -
They walk with angels
And shine their brilliance
And touch us with their gentleness 

Oh, take delight in them
They are free
They break our chains that bind us to the past
And show the promise of a new day
The eyes of our children are upon us
