James Pecora was born in Newark, N.J. in 1952.  He has worked in films, plays and television. He has also worked as a teacher and special Ed teacher. He is graduated from East Side High and Essex County College in Newark, N.J. He also graduated from Kean University in Union, N.J. and has been a member of the U.S. Naval reserves for 25 years. He currently lives in Kearny, N.J.

In the first story, “The Rheinbholz Affair” deals with suspense.  A girl who never knew her father meets him under very strange circumstances. In the second story, “Inside the Black Labyrinth” is a mixture of Greek mythology, suspense and horror as a Greek scholar finds himself in a very unusual and frightening situation. In the third and final story, “Full Moon”, a female attorney believes that the man she is defending is definitely innocent and yet befriends the police officer that is after him. A fascinating triangle.

In the final and third story “Full Moon” which is set in New York, a female attorney believes that the man that she is defending is innocent and even befriends a police officer. A fascinating and intriguing conflict that you need to read for yourself.

The chemistry between the characters is engrossing, compelling, and expertly crafted in a twisted, horrific fashion the fans of the genre will love, with a contemporary writing style that the current generation can relate to and appreciate. Character progression in his stories is tight and well-established.

It’s a roller coaster ride of a novel that keeps you flipping page after page until the very end. The balance between suspense and its ancient lore storytelling is impeccably done that is also satisfying and you be asking for more. Critics praised it for its slick writing and style. Also, doesn’t feel convoluted in story progression. The pacing is decent. Horror and suspense fans will definitely not be disappointed.
