GEORGE PAPA (b. 1943) has never doubted God. He was raised in a devout Christian environment in rural and meager Northern Arizona. This earth is first and foremost designed by God to have all of his children gain the obedience, experience, knowledge and faith necessary to advance beyond this temporary mortality to become gods and goddesses as our Heavenly Parents now are. They were so righteous, obedient, and deserving that they became Gods, and in what is known as preexistence, they gave each of us our individual spiritual birth. And there was our own mortal birth on this planet. There’s also a promise that if we’re worthy, we can become gods and goddesses ourselves, just like they did.

As they walked to Emmaus, a small village seven miles northwest of Jerusalem, the risen Christ manifested all of this and more to two of his senior apostles, Peter and John, as described in the Bible. This little-known occurrence is recorded in the Bible, and it took place shortly after the sun rose on the morning of Christ’s resurrection after he had been in the tomb for just 34 hours.
